Synergismus, das Zusammenwirken des Menschen mit Gott und Natur, ist ein wesentlicher Schlüssel zur Anthropotechnik und Transformationsästhetik des slavisch-orthodoxen Kulturraums.
Visionen des modernen Synergos, die sich angesichts neuer wissenschaftlich-technischer Möglichkeiten an der Wende zum 20. Jahrhundert ihren Weg bahnten, verbinden christliche und säkulare Umgestaltungsprojekte und trennen sie zugleich. Der Synergiediskurs geht dabei keineswegs nahtlos in zeitgenössische Sozialutopien und die Entwürfen des Neuen Menschen der sowjetischen Biopolitik über. Vor dem Hintergrund der epistemischen Umbrüche und Synthesen um 1900, die das Verhältnis von Wissen und Glauben neu justierten, untersucht das Buch synergetische Modellbildungen insbesondere in der russischen Philosophie, Wissenschaft, Literatur und Kunst als ein Fundament der modernen slavischen Wissenskultur.

Christian and secular projects of transformation emerging in the face of new scientific and technological possibilities at the turn of the 20th century are linked by visions of the modern synergos as much as they are set apart be them. Synergistic discourse does not transform seamlessly into contemporary social utopias and the designs of the New Man of Soviet biopolitics. Against the backdrop of the epistemic shifts and syntheses around 1900, which recalibrated the relationship between knowledge and faith, the book examines the formation of synergistic models, notably in Russian philosophy, science, literature and art, as a cornerstone of modern Slavic knowledge culture.]
